Prof. MKDK Piyarathne Professor, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna
	Dr. M.K.D.K. Piyaratne is a Professor in Agro-informatics at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, bringing over 18 years of comprehensive experience in university education and technological leadership. He holds a Ph.D. from Northwest A&F University (China), supplementing his Master's and Bachelor's degrees from Sri Lankan universities. Dr. Piyaratne has been instrumental in the faculty's technological advancement, notably serving as the first Lecturer in Agricultural Information Technology and coordinating the Computer Unit (2018-2021). His scholarly work includes over 40 publications in Agro-informatics and Information Technology. Furthermore, he is a dedicated contributor to institutional and private sector branding, having voluntarily created over a thousand artworks
