Dilanthi Nadeeka Koralagama is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka with fifteen years of experience in teaching, researching and disseminating knowledge. Her main areas of research are wellbeing, gender, resource management, governance and inclusive development in fishing and farming communities. She has a Masters in Fisheries Economics and Management from the University of Tromso, Norway NhaTrang University, VietNam and a PhD in Governance and Inclusive Development from the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. She is the country advisor of the Young Professionals for Agriculture Research and Development (YPARD) in Sri Lanka. Dilanthi also served as the Section F (Social Science) President of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) for the year 2023. She has published a number of research articles in peer reviewed journals and book chapters. She is a Presidential Awards recipient in 2019 for science and research.
